ABOUT ME

Sarah Felicity Root is a proud Detroit based filmmaker. She is a graduate of Wayne State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film with an emphasis in directing and script supervising. She has directed multiple award winning short films of a multitude of genres. 

Sarah is one of the co founders of the production company known as Ace High Productions where she encourages filmmakers and actors to pursue their passions as well as assist those who wish to pursue filmmaking discover their interests within the industry.

Her talents also stretch beyond filmmaking and into technical theatre. She has extensive experience working in stage management, props design, set dressing, and lighting. Over the years, she has been involved in several shows under Henry Ford College, Encore Musical Theatre Company, The Penny Seats, and Williamston Theatre.
